We believe everyone is a leader; that leadership is not positional or hierarchical; that knowing when to follow, how to
do your part to support those around you is as integral to leadership as being at the front and having the loudest voice.
We believe all teens are leaders and want to help them define what that means to them.

In developing young leaders, we believe that once they learn who they are as leaders, they will naturally support the
community in thriving over the course of the summer.

Once teens feel like they fully belong they will be proactive in welcoming others into a community equipped with meaningful ways to practice respect and inclusion.

As teens experience their own discomfort and growth on an individual scale they can develop new patience for others that helps to create a community fully accepting of who people are and who they are growing into – making
TF a safe place to learn, to fail, and ultimately grow.
